Lowveld Academy was graced with a visit from the Lepelle 4 Circuit Director, Matema Moagi, to congratulate and present certificates to eight of this learning institute’s matriculants who made it to the Top 100 grade 12 students in Mopani’s west educational district.
The certificate was awarded by the Mopani West Educational District and District Director Phillipine Modika, celebrates the 100 top academic students for the first term of 2023.
Out of a total of 8252 matriculants in the Mopani West District, Lowveld Academy students proudly claimed eight positions, ranging from 96th to the highest position of sixth and fifth.
The top places was held by students Kamogelo Molefe and Kabelo Madalane who also hold the second and first positions respectively in the Lepelle 4 Circuit.
The event was accompanied by Lowveld Academy students showcasing their vibrant school spirit with song and dance with the students expressing their gratitude to Moagi and her team for their continuous support of their educational endeavours.
In fifth position was Kabelo Madalane with a pass rate of 89.57% followed by Kamogelo Molefe (89.57%) in sixth place and Kgaugelo Malapane (93rd position, 79.86%)
The other learners amongst the top 100 were Kevin Ndlovu (18th place, 87.14%), Rishika Padmaram (26th place, 85.86%), Carlo Dos Santos (32nd position, 85.14%), Renee McFarlane (62nd place, 81.71%) and Nicole Adam (96th place, 79.71%).
