On Friday the 20th of May, the Superspar in Modjadjiskloof handed over the keys to a brand-new Hyundai Grand i10 car to an ecstatic Meriam Mashao who entered the national Spar-Win-a-Car competition.
Mashao won one of the 50 vehicles up for grabs in the nation-wide competition by simply purchasing any of the participating Win-a-Car products and swiped her Spar Rewards card which lined her up for a chance to win a brand-new car.
“I am so happy! It is the first time ever that I have won a prize in a competition. Now my children will drive me to church on Sundays and to Spar for shopping, and to enter for other competitions too!”
Mashao was accompanied by her son, Mpho who had a valid driver’s license to take his mom back home in her new car. The two elated family members received the vehicle amid much celebration from staff and fellow shoppers.
