Unicorn Preparatory School’s final assembly took place on Thursday the 2nd of December. It was also during this event where the senior learners, gr.4 to 7, received awards for their achievements during the year.

Karja Kruger received Academic Honours.

The Dux Award, the headmaster’s award for the Top Academic Achievement in gr.7 with an average of 86%, was
awarded to Julia Krüger. Karja Kruger received Academic Honours and was one of the learners who were awarded for their academic brilliance.

Jan Pretorius was awarded with the Helen Wolff Trophy for Sportsman of the Year. He also received the Schultz Trophy for Sportsmanship for boys. Strong foundations leading towards grounded futures..

The award for Academic Excellence Full House for gr.7 learners was handed to Isabella Brett, Julia Krüger, Syrine Fhima, Natalie Swanepoel, Irma van Wyk and Madison Wood.

Isabella Brett was the winner of the Margie Wagner Trophy for Sportswoman of the Year.

The Baleta Trophy for Integrity went to Karja Kruger and Jamie-Jayne van Niekerk received the Paula Drake
Good Fellowship Award. Natalie Swanepoel was the receiver of the Fay Trophy for Outstanding Achievement in
Natural Science in gr.7 with a 90%.

The winners of the Vlymskerp Trofee vir Afrikaans Groepsredenaars were Jac van Wyk, Ester van Staden, Ewan Snyman and Leah Stewart (absend).
The Robyn Graham Trophy for the Best Outside Cultural Achievement went to Levi Alexander, Amelie Pretorius, Josh Kuisis. Malcolm du Toit was absend.
Logan van Rensburg received the Borchers Trophy for Current Affairs.
The Blight Trophy for Outstanding Achievement in Economics in gr.7 with 92% was shared by Julia Krüger and Isabella Brett.
Ilne Kotze was the winner of the De Almeida Trophy for Dedicated Work in the Library.
