A 38-year employee of one of the retailers in Tzaneen was hospitalized after an explosion in his apartment at Vermont flats in Premier Park. The police said that the explosion occurred on Monday at around 11:30.
The explosion completely destroyed the tiny apartment including the furniture and blew out all the windows. No other residents were injured and the cause of the explosion has still not been determined. The police are investigating and have opened an inquest docket.
