The Ford Ranger Raptor is ready to scout routes for the SA Cross Country Series.

Ford’s legendary high-performance off -road pickup, the Ranger Raptor, will be used as the official route scouting vehicle for the second half of the 2021 SA Cross Country Series (SACCS).

The Ranger Raptor with its true-blue Ford Performance DNA with specially developed FOX shock absorbers, reinforced chassis, 283mm ground clearance, 150mm wider track, various drive modes including Baja mode makes it an ideal vehicle for SACCS.

The Raptor will be used by the multiple SA cross country champion and SACCS route director, Evan Hutchison, for race route plotting, marking and pre-running to achieve more realistic recce speeds and more accurately identified caution areas for competitors.
